GOSEI—Synthetic―
プラスチックゴミが様々な条件によって少しずつ粉砕され、
それがマイクロプラスチックとなり、自然界へ取り込まれていくさまを
オフセット印刷でよく見られるハーフトーンから着想を得ています。
オフセット印刷がドットによって構成されている事から、
ドットを極端に大きくしていくことによって、
遠くから離れて見れば洗濯バサミやトレーとわかるものの、
近づけば近づくほどそれが何かわからない。
プラスチックが粉砕されていくにつれ、
もともとなんだったのかわからなくなっていくさまに似ている。
また、スポンジやペットボトル、プラスプーンなどの画像をフォトショで、
海洋生物や海藻、波のように加工してみました。
それと同時に、水の流れ、氷の模様、水草、
川魚、水鳥などの画像をデータを壊しグリッジ化させ、
自然環境が昔のままではなく、気づかぬうちに変わってきていることを表現しました。
それをランダムに混ぜ込んでいく事で
人工物と自然物の境界線が曖昧になっていく様子が表現できないかと模索してみました。
